NCB Expands Business Development Operations with Top New Hire

Arlington, Va. – (January 20, 2015) – National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution which provides banking products and services to the nation's cooperatives, their members and other socially responsible organizations, today announces that Brian Misenheimer has joined as Senior Vice President in its Commercial Banking Division, overseeing independent grocery retailers and natural food cooperatives in the Midwest region. In this capacity, Mr. Misenheimer will devise and execute business plans and provide day-to-day management of NCB’s grocery portfolio. He is returning to NCB, where he spent nearly eight years from June 2002 to December 2009 as both a senior credit analyst and a commercial lender to franchise organizations nationwide.

In his role, Mr. Misenheimer will be responsible for deepening the bank’s existing grocery and natural food cooperative relationships while also fostering new business opportunities and coordinating its overall market expansion strategy. In addition, he will also work closely with senior internal and external shareholders on sales management goals to further the loan, deposit and cash management sales penetration.

Prior to joining NCB, Mr. Misenheimer served as Vice President for TD Bank, N.A., where he focused on franchise finance for national accounts. He was the primary contact and managed several targeted franchise relationships for the bank with loan programs available for new unit development, acquisitions, partner buy-outs, refinance and owner/user commercial real estate. Prior to TD Bank, Mr. Misenheimer was with Capital Source as a business development officer focusing on SBA products and franchise finance.

Mr. Misenheimer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, (UNCG) where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Management with a concentration in Business Management. He began his career in commercial lending in 2000 as a Credit Analyst with Bank of America (Dealer Financial Services – Auto Group) where he also received formal Credit Training through the Bank and Omega Commercial Loans to Business. In addition to his professional affiliations, he is a volunteer for NC youth Soccer Association and the Boy Scouts of America.
