Arlington, VA (June 29, 2023) – National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution dedicated to providing banking solutions to cooperatives and socially responsible organizations nationwide, provided $73,900 in grants to 34 non-profit organizations nationwide via NCB's Corporate Contributions Committee for the first half of 2023.
NCB's employee-driven Corporate Contributions Committee (CCC) is comprised of NCB employees who volunteer their time to review applications on a monthly basis from 501(c)3, non-profit organizations that rely on community support to achieve their missions.
In the first half of 2023, the Committee approved grants for a variety of organizations serving community needs such as education, community development, health and human services, arts and culture, cooperative development, and capacity building. Here is just a small example of the support NCB has shown so far this year:

- NCB donated $2,500 to Food and Friends in Washington, DC. NCB’s donation helped support the Chef’s Best Dinner and Auction that provides meals and nutrition counseling to individuals living with HIV/AIS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses.
- NCB supported Developing Artists based in Manhattan with $2,500. This donation was used to help with their performing art classes.
