Arlington, VA (January 23, 2024) — National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution dedicated to providing banking solutions to cooperatives and socially responsible organizations nationwide, provided $129,000 in grants to 71 non-profit organizations through NCB's Corporate Contributions Committee.
NCB’s Corporate Contributions Committee (CCC) is dedicated to making a difference in the community and is comprised of bank employees who volunteer their time to review grant applications from non-profit organizations each month.
In 2023, the Committee approved grants for a variety of 501(c)3 organizations that address community needs, including education, community development, health and human services, arts and culture, cooperative development, and capacity building.
"With a commitment to "Do Well, to Do Good", I am very pleased that we were able to distribute $129,000 to 71 local non-profits this year, many of which have a strong connection to an NCB employee," stated Casey Fannon, President and CEO. "Funds for this committee are made possible by a dollar-for-dollar match by from NCB's employee giving campaign."
Over the past five years, the CCC has proudly donated over $667,500 to various non-profit organizations.
