John Holdsclaw IV Named to Global Communities Board of Trustees

Arlington, Va (September 27, 2019) – National Cooperative Bank (NCB), a leading financial institution dedicated to providing banking solutions to cooperatives, their members and socially responsible organizations nationwide is pleased to announce that John Holdsclaw IV, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs has joined the Global Communities Board of Trustees.

Mr. Holdsclaw currently serves on the Board of Directors of the national Community Development Financial Institutions Fund Coalition, Self Help Venture Fund, Carolina Small Business Development Fund, and the Charleston Citywide Local Development Corp. He was recently appointed to the Advisory Board of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has received the Capital Impact Partners Award for Outstanding Corporate Achievement and its Business Impact Award. Recently, Mr. Holdsclaw received NCB's Stanley W. Dreyer Spirit of Cooperation Award, bestowed annually to those who live and work with the spirit of the cooperative principles.

Mr. Holdsclaw joins the Board of Trustees as the new term commences with incoming Board Chair Governor Richard Celeste; Vice Chair Nancy Roman, President and CEO of the Partnership for a Healthy America; and Secretary Hillary Thomas-Lake, Ph.D., the founder and CEO of the Washington-based international development consulting firm HillTop Development Strategies.
