The Senior Investor Reporting Analyst ensures compliance for all sold and portfolio loans. Industry scrutiny from rating agencies and auditors has presented a need for more centralized oversight of investor reporting, consent management, closing/payoff schedules and general compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Prepare and submit monthly CRE Financial Counsel (CREFC) reports to investors for all Master Serviced, Subserviced, and Specially Serviced Loans.
  •    Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly reports to Fannie Mae and several private investors including Apple, Patriot, and Firstrust.   
  •    Oversee the delivery of the monthly TREPP reports for accuracy and timeliness.  A thorough understanding of these reports is necessary on the current Fannie Mae MBS deals that are reported monthly to TREPP.   
  •    Prepare and submit monthly Federal Reserve Bank Report, FHLB reports for both CRE and Multifamily.  
  •     Prepare monthly reports relating to borrower compliance of Compensating Balance Requirements.  Communicate noncompliance with asset manager, relationship manager and lender until compliance is obtained.   
  •    Review Pooling and Servicing Agreements to determine the bank’s rights and responsibilities under each agreement for items such as consents, realized loss calculations, recoverability of advances, etc.   
  •    Assist Senior Management with special projects as necessary – projects are typically relatively complex and sometimes involve large amounts of data.  Comprehensive understanding of data and project purpose must be gained in order to implement processes and deliver acceptable results.
  •    Supervise Jr. Investor Reporting Analyst providing training, guidance and backup as necessary for the closing calendar, loan maturity reporting, lease expiration reports and additional duties as assigned.   
  •    Supervise the Inspection Analyst ensuring duties and deadlines are met.
  •    Supervise the Post Closing Account Manager ensuring duties and deadlines are met.
  •    Assist with technology enhancements to assist with investor compliance related matters to include creating detailed specifications, testing and implementation.
  •    Assist with implementation of ongoing changes to meet CREFC investor reporting standards. 
  •    Participate in the ongoing development of NCB proprietary databases.

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree or a minimum of 4-6 years working experience in Accounting/Finance, Underwriting or related Real Estate servicing experience. 
  •   The candidate will be expected to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  •   The individual should be hard working and dedicated to maximizing the bank’s performance. 
  •   The individual will be expected to have thorough knowledge and working background in investor reporting.  Familiarity with the following CREFC standard reports is mandatory: Loan Periodic, Property Periodic, Loan Setup File, Financial File, Reserve File, Watchlist Report, Comparative Financial File and all other supplemental CREFC reports.
  •   The candidate will be expected to act as a business expert liaison between the Investor Compliance Department and IT. 
  •   The analyst must have a thorough understanding of each deal and servicing agreement to meet required delivery time frame and use appropriate forms.
  •   The candidate should be highly proficient with Microsoft Applications to include superior MS Excel skills with a working knowledge with McCracken Financial Software and query writing, Access Database and Lotus Notes.
