Position: Branch Manager - Fayetteville
Location: Hillsboro, OH
Nature and Scope: Daily management of the Branch and oversee the daily activity of the branch, performance reviews, monitoring and maintaining the growth of the branch thru deposit tracking, monthly transaction and benchmarking information, and loan production reports and other bank generated materials. Control branch expenses. Responsible for customer calls, referring loans and other bank products including cash management services. Maintain communication between internal departments and upper management to align the goals of the branch with that of NCB. Represent NCB in a positive light at all times both inside and outside the bank by customer/community involvement and customer contact. Ensure customer service and customer intimacy is held at the highest standard levels. Insuring that all regulations and compliance are maintained and all training is completed annually. To refer and answer general questions regarding sales of real-estate, commercial and installment lending for NCB, FSB. Work with other departments and managers as it pertains to your job.
Responsibilities Include:
- Cross
sell of all bank products and lines of business to new and existing customers
to increase bank profitability and growth.
Ensure processes are efficient and staff is cross trained. Ensure staff
is performing at satisfactory levels to promote customer satisfaction and intimacy. Generate new business, open new accounts
offered by NCB, FSB including IRA accounts, explain products and services
offered by NCB to new/ existing/ potential customers, provide detailed
information on IRA accounts, refer and answer general questions and market loan
products in the local Ohio market area, monitor and maintain the growth of the
branch. Work closely with personal banker on initiatives, deposit growth
opportunities, mentoring staff, and any issues that need addressed, control expenses,
maintain adequate staffing levels and utilizing schedule efficiently and for
branch profitability, ensure monthly audits are completed for tellers, vaults,
ATM’s; responsible for safety and security of branch including opening/closing
and disaster recovery training; day-to-day management of teller staff including
scheduling, customer contact, opening new accounts, marketing, phone calls and
teller issues; provide complete customer service; assist CSR’s with difficult
customers/transactions; mentor staff on cross selling opportunities; promote
team spirit in employees; oversee staff and their performance as it relates to
customer service to maintain satisfactory levels; ensure all staff is
performing duties as per JCQ; assist employees with Max Plans and perform
employee reviews semi-annually and annually and personal development; responsible
for safety and security of branch including opening/closing and disaster
recovery training; monthly benchmarking reports and audit checklists; check signing
and wire authority.
- Teller
Functions (all inclusive) as needed per schedule; receive checks and cash for
deposit or payments, verify amount and examine checks for proper endorsement; cash
checks and process withdrawals or transfers, verify signatures and account
balances; maintain cash supply within prescribed limits, prepare cash transfer
slips, balance currency, coin and checks at the end of the day; perform file
maintenance, process account holds, filing and other duties as necessary; assist
in bank-by-mail or night depository transactions; handle drive-up transactions
rotating with other tellers; assist in logging and processing night deposit transactions.

Procedures, Regulatory Compliance, Training:
Review and follow NCB, FSB policies and procedures; be knowledgeable and
up to date on all regulatory compliance issues as it relates to teller duties;
complete training as assigned by Teller Operations
Manager.
- Other Duties: Backup vault duties after Vault/Head
Teller; backup Organization of teller lunch schedule; backup Approve time cards;
backup assistance to tellers with problem customers and/or transactions; backup
assistance to tellers in end of day balancing/cash audits; balance ATM when
needed; inform Teller Operations Manager and/or Loan Manager of any new or
recurring customer or employee situation that needs attention; conduct employee
meetings as needed; other duties as assigned by Regional Branch Operations
Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates degree in business or related field preferred
- Banking experience of 1-2 years required
- Management experience preferred
- Sales experience preferred
- Lending, Accounting & Sales experience preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Cash handling experience required
- Ability to multi-task/flexibility in schedule
- Microsoft Word & Excel experience
