“We’re thrilled to have such distinguished government officials join NCB for the Wilmington grand opening event,” added Randy W. Davis, Senior Business Development Officer and Co-Branch Manager. “We’ve anticipated the opening of this branch for a long time and are excited to become part of the community and build long and successful relationships with all of our Wilmington customers.”
The latest branch is part of NCB’s ongoing pledge to expand its operations to meet the financial needs of southwestern Ohio residents and provide the best products and services for businesses and consumers. The new 3,500 square foot state-of-the-art facility’s full suite of services includes five teller stations, customer service reception area, two drive-thru teller lanes and one ATM.
“Our new Wilmington branch provides a modern and convenient location for residents to handle all of their financial needs,” stated Michael S. Flanigan, Senior Business Development Officer and Co-Branch Manager. “We’re proud to offer this city a new choice in banking. As our slogan goes, ‘A Bank big enough to help, small enough to listen,’ NCB’s reputation for providing personal banking solutions through its expansive suite of products and services is sure to serve this community well.”
To show its support, NCB made a $1,000 donation to the Wilmington High School Athletic Department. The department’s Director Mike Wallace was on hand to accept the donation from the Bank.
As more Wilmington residents turn to NCB for its banking needs, the Bank offers the NCB Switch Kit, designed to help new customers seamlessly move their accounts from other financial institutions. NCB Switch Kit includes a new account application, direct deposit authorization form, automatic payment change authorization, automatic payment change checklist, an existing account closing notification and an existing account balance worksheet. The kit, which can help customers conveniently move their checking, savings and/or money market accounts, is available in all of NCB’s offices or can be easily downloaded from the Tools and Application page of the website www.ncb.coop.
Also helping Wilmington customers decide to make the switch is NCB’s experienced local team of experts running the branch office. Mr. Davis and Mr. Flanigan have both worked in Wilmington’s lending market prior to joining NCB, and have extensive in depth experience, industry knowledge and are familiar with the financial needs of Wilmington’s businesses and customers. Another local resident on staff is Assistant Branch Manager Freda Jones, who will supervise and direct the bank staff and assist in achieving growth goals. As one of the highest ranked banks in customer service, NCB is excited to offer Wilmington residents and business owners its full suite of financial services, tailored to meet each customer’s specific needs.
According to the independent research firm, R.S. Carmichael & Co, a recently completed Customer Satisfaction Service Quality report, NCB ranks among the highest banks in superior service. A sampling of the results indicates 93 percent of the Bank’s Ohio customers were “highly satisfied” with the bank and feel that their NCB relationship is “highly-valuable” and would be “highly likely to recommend” the bank. These positive comments, among others, are just some of the many reasons NCB has experienced such great success both in Ohio and on a national basis.
The Bank has grown significantly in Ohio over the past 10 years, increasing its deposits and loan market share, while implementing a long-term growth strategy to become a leading community bank in the state. The Bank offers commercial and personal banking services to NCB’s customers nationwide. NCB utilizes its deposit base to fund loan products, resulting in more competitive pricing for customers. Its primary focus is on mortgage banking services, merchant services, cash management and a wide variety of consumer products and services.
NCB is dedicated to strengthening communities nationwide through the delivery of banking and financial services, complemented by a special focus on cooperative expansion and economic development. Headquartered in Washington, DC, NCB also has offices in Alaska, California, New York and Virginia. In addition, NCB has a growing community banking network in southwestern Ohio.
